Meet Lisset Ramdayal
Lisset Ramdayal began her journey in 1999, emigrating to the United States from Ecuador in pursuit of the American dream. While working 9-5's in various industries, she realized a better career path was needed for her and her family. Lisset joined EMS in 2008 as an EMT then quickly became a Paramedic by 2010.
She honed her skills as a new Paramedic, working various 911 and critical care transport jobs throughout NYC. Hard work and dedication would pay off for Lisset as she would join the prestigious FDNY as a Paramedic. She would go on to work in various parts of the city before finding a home in the Bronx. She would continuously push her skills to new levels, becoming a haz-mat medical specialist in 2015.
Wanting to push herself even further, Lisset would pursue the elite Rescue Medical Technician, specializing in collapse, high angle, and confined space rescue. She would achieve this position in 2017, becoming one of only a handful of female Rescue Medics in the entire NYC 911 system.
Over the course of 10 years, Lisset has carefully excelled in her craft, opening her own small business targeting public safety consultation.
